Expectations of Library Behavior

We hope you enjoy your visit here. In order to ensure a pleasant experience for all, we have established the following expectations:

1. Show mutual respect for everyone in the library. Use appropriate language and behavior.  For example: physical or verbal harassment of other patrons or staff is prohibited.

2.  Allow others to use the library in peace. For example: loud, boisterous behavior is not acceptable.

3.  Treat library property with care. For example: any damage done to the material, equipment, furniture, or building is against the law and may be reported to the police.

4.  Children age 8 years and younger must be appropriately supervised.

5.   No pets allowed; service animals permitted.

6.   No smoking in the library.

7.   Avoid food contact with library materials and computers.

8.   No bare feet.

9.   Roller blades and skateboards do not belong inside the building.

10. Cell phones may be used in designated areas only; please turn off ringer while in Library.

Violations of expectations of library behavior may result in your being asked to leave.
