Ice Cream Social with Essex Seniors
In this special Outdoor Play Time we meet up with Senior Center friends, draw giant dinosaurs together and share ice cream. We’ll still have creative materials out for you to play as well.

Read with Sammy! Sammy loves belly rubs, carrots, and listening to kids read! His owner is Kim Nowlan, an educator at Thomas Fleming School. They are a certified team with Therapy Dogs of Vermont. Repeats every 1st Tuesday of the month. For all ages.
Marshmallow Roast and Campfire Songs
Roast marshmallows under the library pavilion and sing campfire songs with Linda Bassick. Then make up a campfire story together. For all ages.
Summer Solstice!
Celebrate the longest days of the year, Summer Solstice, by making your own big summer sun collage. We’ll be using paint so don’t wear your best clothes! All ages are welcome and the youngest will need some adult help.

The Essex Art League (EAL) was created in 1972 by a group of artists and art lovers. They meet monthly from September to June and welcome anyone to join them for community and learning. Switch It Up!
Switch up your Friday night routine and come play games at Brownell! We will be bringing out the Nintendo Switch at 6 PM – show up early to decide which game(s) we play. This program is designed for youth in grades 5 and up.
