Hieroglyphs: Create a Cartouche!

One of the oldest writing systems in the world, Egyptian hieroglyphics date back over 5,000 years. Using these images, we will be creating cartouches just like the ones the ancient Egyptians used to enclose the names of their pharaohs. There will also be secret messages in hieroglyphics for patrons to decode for an additional challenge. This program is open to patrons age 9 and up.
